Date:6-9 September 2025
Venue: The Palm Beach County Convention Center
Organizer: The American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association
This year, it was held in West Palm Beach, located on the east coast of Florida, USA. Although I did not meet any Japanese booths or Japanese specialists, I was kindly welcomed by American doctors who spoke Japanese, and I received a very warm impression.
The atmosphere was quite different from last year’s conference held at Azabu University in Japan. There were various creative efforts to ensure that participating veterinarians could truly enjoy the event.
On the second Evening, there was a party with games and drinks, where people enjoyed themselves until late at night. This is something quite different from the more rigid style often seen in Japan.
Since the United States is vast, some companies design dog runs within hospital facilities, as well as those that sell fun design goods for pet owners. Rather than being dominated by large corporations, the exhibitors were often individual veterinarians presenting in their own specialized fields, in line with regulations, as part of their personal lifestyle.
It did not have the “corporate atmosphere” often found in Japan.
Next year, it will be held in San Diego.
Perhaps I will come again!!
