An experience dealing with someone's concern about user's parents' home(Golden Retriever)

From time to time, we also receive orders from people who are concerned about dogs who are living with their parents.

That concern for a pet, even though not living with it, shows the love of an owner, which is like that of a human parent.

[Breed of dog] Golden Retriever

[The problem]
This dog is living at my parents' house.
It has been 12 years since they got him.
Perhaps due to age, he has lately become unable to stand and is lying down all the time.

Somehow or other, he manages to eat.
I am hoping there is something we can do to help him get through the hot summer.

Hello.
My dog has just about finished the medicine that I bought the other day.

Around the time of the O-bon festival, she was limp and I was about to give up hope, but when I saw Nana (the dog's name) again after an absence of 10 days, her expression had definitely changed.

In spite of having been so weak that she couldn't lift up her head,
now she is moving her head and following people with her eyes.

I don't know whether it is due to the fact that the summer heat has let up, or that the medicine has been effective...
I would like to believe that it is the medicine.

I would like to order the same thing again.
However, although she has become more lively, now there is a problem with a thing that I had been dreading: She has developed pressure sores, and my parents seem to be having a lot of trouble dealing with them.

As physical weakness leads to the worsening of pressure sores, I only hope that somehow we can help her to recover even a small amount of energy.
