Hana's story - No. 11

● Message of July 9, 2007, 9:15 P.M.

Mr. Okawa, I appreciated your response the other day.

Hana lived a happy life right up to the end, thanks to your sympathetic support.

The vet also commented that she had lived out her natural span.
I think that Hana herself would be satisfied that she was able to have a clear mind until her final days.

Right to the end, she always showed me consideration, dying on a weekend, on the day of the Tanabata Festival, at that.

I am feeling lonely right now, but I'll get through it.

To tell the truth, I am in a nearby park right now, dreading going home because I know she isn't there anymore.

When my work is done for the day, it is very painful to realize that I don't need to hurry home anymore.

Still, there must be many owners--including you yourself, Mr. Okawa--who have felt this way after losing their pets, but have gotten over it.

Lastly, I am sending you some pictures of Hana:
One, as I told you, taken just before she took her last Pinfenon pill,
when she was bedridden and her eyes were unfocused...
Another one of her when she was in good health...
And one when she passed away, happy

Thank you so much for always being kind, even when I was terribly worried.

My heartfelt prayers for your health and happiness.

Please accept my heartfelt prayers for Hana's repose.
