Shih Tzu, female weighing 7.8 kg, nine years and eight months old

●From Sally's owner, August 15, 2006
Breed of dog: Shih Tzu, female, Sally, 7.8 kg, nine years and eight months old

A blood test performed on March 28 found her blood to be thin; her urine was colorless.

She used to drink 500cc of water each day, but the amount increased to 800cc, so I started giving her 2 Pinfenon pills, both morning and night.

Later, a blood test and urine test on May 12 came back normal.

She hasn't been tested since then, but she has a better appetite than she did as a puppy and when growing, and the amount of water she drinks has gradually increased, being around 1500cc at present.

As an adult, she used to urinate three times a day, but now urinates six times.
She is an indoor dog and wants what we are eating or drinking, but when we refuse to give it to her so as to keep her weight down, she drinks water.
Her weight, formerly at 7.5 kg, has gone up to 7.8~8.0 kg.
I think this is a reflection of her drinking so much water.

I am planning to take her for testing again; but
her stools are normal, and she walks slowly, probably because
of her age. She walks for around 10 minutes in the morning and 15 at night.
She urinates six times a day, at 6:00 A.M., 8:00 A.M., 12:00 noon, 4:00 P.M., 6:00 P.M., and 11:00 P.M.
