Cavalier - Improvement seen in dry eyes!

A month has already passed since late July, when we received an inquiry
about dry eyes from the owner of Henry, a Cavalier.

This is a happy message about indications of his improvement.

●July 19, 2006 ~from Henry's owner~

At the end of last year, my job required a move to Kagoshima, so I made the move there along with Henry, although worried about how the summer heat might affect him.

In addition to his having an inherently allergic constitution and suffering from dry eyes for about two years, he was recently diagnosed as having a heart murmur.
As it is still in the early stages, he has hardly any symptoms.

I consult two veterinarians about him, but they differ in their opinions as to medications. As it is my policy to avoid, so far as possible, having Henry take in chemicals, I haven't given him any medications yet.

With that in mind, I decided to give him Pinfenon, which I had checked out previously.
I hope to help him to deal with his heart disease and preserve his quality of life as it is now.

We are all looking forward to taking him back with us three years from now, to Yokohama, where his beloved Hakkeijima is.

I would appreciate your continued assistance.

●August 17, 2006 ~Great news about Henry~

It will soon be one month since I began giving Pinfenon to Henry.
Thanks to you, his chronic dry eyes have started to show improvement.
Now it is easy to remove the encrustations of his eye discharge, which used to be very stubborn.

His allergies are also better.

I intend to have both his dry eyes and mitral valve insufficiency checked at the pet hospital pretty soon, and I am looking forward to seeing some good results.

I would appreciate your continued advice.
