This is the season when fresh breezes blow upon the green and young leaves.
How are all your pets doing these days?

We wish to thank all of you for regularly using Pinfenon and we hope to help you to alleviate your pets' painful symptoms.

That is the main thing we try to do.

Did you know?
It is said that about 40% of adult dogs and cats tend to be obese?

It is said that the reason for this is that owners consider their pets to be members of the family and so adapt them to the same life style as the humans.
For example, if an owner doesn't much like to exercise, then he will cut his dog's walks short, or if he likes to snack, he will give snacks to his pets, and so on...

Giving snacks can be very effective for training pets/animals, if given judiciously, but giving them all the time is not good.

Check these points to see whether your pet is obese.
□ When looking down at him/her from above, does his/her abdomen stick out on the
sides?
□ Are you unable to feel his/her ribs easily when you touch his/her sides?
□ Does his/her abdomen hang down when you hold his/her front paws and make
him/her stand up?

People tend to think that obesity is not a disease, but it is, in truth, responsible for all sorts of illnesses.

Diabetes, irregular pulse, fatty liver, skin diseases...

What's more, being heavy puts a strain on the joints and the animal becomes more susceptible to arthritis.

If you recognize that something in this checklist applies to you,
harden your heart and give your pet 10~20% less food.
It is the owner's responsibility to take care and keep his pet in good health as long as possible.

Every day spent with our pets is precious.

The May issue of The Pet Club has come out; it contains our series of articles!
Here is an article on Lucky, a Wire Fox Terrier in Hiroshima Prefecture, who was suffering from dermatitis.
The article tells how, when the itching subsided, even the color of his/her fur was improved and it looked beautiful.

Dear Scarecrow Medical Division,

I phoned you with a question.
My cat's dermatitis responded well to Pinfenon, and I am relieved.
Here is a recent picture of my cat.
She is a seven-month-old Chinchilla named Momo.
Thank you so much.
I would appreciate your continued assistance.
