Mast cell tumor, Pug - Momoko's diary

Ten-year-old female pug , 11 kg

My dog has a slight hernia of the cervical and lumbar vertebrae, with no pain as yet, I was told. However, I now know that that was the effect of the Rimadyl that she had been taking after an operation for a mast cell tumor, so she must have been having pain all along.

I ordered Pinfenon because I didn't want to keep giving her Rimadyl, but will it help with the pain of a hernia?

She has symptoms such as her front legs becoming stiff and seeming to have spasms when she is in a posture that is hard on her neck, and when her back is in poor condition, her hind legs suffer spasms, but if she doesn't overdo, then there are no spasms. However, when she is walking, her hind legs are always unsteady. (Her hip joints are loose, too...)

This was her second operation for mast cell tumors and in between operations, she also had chemotherapy or treatment with steroids alone.

I was giving her things like agaricus, shark cartilage, Meshima Pure, nucleic acid, and fermented papaya for the cancer, but right now I am no longer giving her the agaricus and shark cartilage.

I have bought more shark cartilage for her hernias, but have not yet given it to her because it impedes healing after an operation.
Her appetite is good and she is very lively, so I am hoping to relieve her pain, at least.

I have stopped giving her agaricus and shark cartilage and am now only giving her Pinfenon.

She has begun to move around a lot, so perhaps the pain is gone.

I am giving it to three dogs.
Thank you very much.

I will tell you about my site, too.
